Apr. 16th, 2004 02:43 pm1. What do you do for a living?
Software Support Analyst for an oil and gas software company. But somehow it also involves training, marketing and a lot of handholding.
2. What do you like most about your job?
Problem solving. Figuring out why a program crashes. And I get a kick out of people having to ask me for help :)
3. What do you like least about your job?
Training. I have the typical College Professor syndrome. I get very annoyed when people don't automatically "get" the simple stuff. I tend to forget I've done this non-stop for four years and they're just learning.
4. When you have a bad day at work it's usually because _____...
The phone never stops ringing. Worse, it's the same person calling back every half and hour for the entire day.
5. What other career(s) are you interested in?
It's weird that I have no preference. I'm good as long as I'm learning something new. I would prefer something to do with computers though.
