Travel by train
Nov. 22nd, 2009 08:17 pmWe're having a very lazy Sunday; watching tv and eating way too much junk, but it's relaxing and restful (also had a 2 hour nap, which helps)
Because one show had someone eating on a train Jet asked if we could do that. I've always wanted to but there's only one train in Western Canada, and it's expensive (like $1200 for one night per person). And if I'm going to do something like that it's not going to see the same old mountains I see from my office window. I'd totally do the Orient Express or another steam train and pretend that I'm part of an era gone by.
But i need to win the lottery first :)
