janus_74or...why I've been so flakey lately :)
Had an ultrasound yesterday and the lady said I was 14 weeks along, so now we're free to tell everyone. I told my mom, and I figured between her and my husband all will know soon. I'm waiting until tomorrow to tell work, 'cause I'll be bailing for vacation next week :)
It was kind of fun looking at the ultrasound. I could pick out the spine, but the rest of it I just took her word for. I don't agree with the due date (Nov 9th), but since I wasn't paying attention to the date of my last period I can't really argue.
The husbands been really cute about the whole thing, and I've learned that he can't keep a secret for shit.
I finally feel more like myself this week. What they fail to tell you in the movies is the mind-numbing exhaustion that comes with being pregnant. Like how you feel when you accidentally take night-time cold medicine right before work. You're too tired to move, let alone do anything like eat or clean or read. Also, couldn't concentrate long enough to write anything.
That's why no fic updates yet.
