My long weekend

Drove six hours east, spent the night, went to a wedding reception, spent the night and then drove six hours west.

I came away with the knowledge that my husband and I could never participate in the Amazing Race. Because we'd kill each other before we ever got to the first airport. But it would also make for some entertaining television.

Things would have improved immensely if he had given me a map that was made after 1942. Just sayin'.

Monday

Was spent reading and watching movies. Really liked The Italian Job, my new crush is Jason Statham (from Snatch and The Transporter).

Also saw the second LotR movie. Still didn't rock my world, but it was better than the first one.

Jason Statham is a damn good time. Have you seen "The Transporter" yet because that movie kills me it's so wacky and hilarious. And Jason. Shirtless!

Ahhh, the Transporter. I loved it, but mostly for the fight scenes. They're making a second one, I think it's being filmed now.

I loved the gratuitious "Jason Statham shirtless, and OH LOOKEE! Let's cover him in oil" fight scene. Also, him doing a split kick and beating heads left and right, and the hilarity of him buying the girl Orangina; of the music on the soundtrack stopping when he stops his car...on and on. Hee!
