I think I just pissed my in-laws off re: moving to five minutes away from them.   But for two people who work in corrections and social services, they don't seem to understand that a sure fire way of getting someone (read: me) to *not* do something is to keep pushing the point.

Maybe it's like reverse reverse psychology. They tell you to move so that you feel like you shouldn't which in turn gets you to move where they want you to. Or something like that.

:) It's totally making me want to do the opposite of everything they say (with the added bonus of me ready to throttle them). I feel sorry for my sister-in-law, she's probably going to rebel something feirce.
