Progress Report

Watched The Butterfly Effect yesterday and was reminded why I have a "no disturbing movie" policy. I'm still feeling a little...out of sorts becuase of it. Really good movie though.

High-speed internet comes back to my house tonight, yay! I can download the first Amazing Race ep, as well as the Dead Things dailies that are floating around. I miss my computer.

Last week was crazy busy, on top of which I couldn't get a good nights sleep. There are very few comfortable positions these days. So I bought one of those big-ass body pillows, which takes up half the bed, but helped me sleep so the husband will just have to get used to the limited real-estate.

I dislike you and your internet having ways ;) Damn Telus wants about 200 bucks to get my cell phone working like a modem.

I, of course, am confident of a work around. ;)

I have been told the Butterfly Effect is on the list of movies I'm not allowed to watch. Glad to have you re-enforce that.

Yeah, don't watch the Butterfly Effect. Just know that it's an interesting (and violent) story, but had a disturbing and depressing ending. I knew that, but watched it anyway.

Good rule of thumb is if you know its going to end with something depressing, don't watch. :)

I know, but the internet has told me I can get the data cable pretty much anywhere besides Telus and then use the cell as wireless modem. Slow as hell but at least it would work :)

Yeah, but will you be using minutes? Or are you on a plan that doesn't care?

It would use minutes, but probably no more then what I use talking to Erin and Jessi instead of IM'ing them. Plus browsing would be severally limited to the speed.

But I have to find the cable first. :)
