janus_74Wow...what an election. I was really hoping for Kerry to pull it off and I'm very sorry that he didn't. Remember, Canada is a lovely country and it's not really that cold here :)
Now let's talk about me...
Day 3 of Maternity Leave and I'm not looking at my work e-mail every half hour waiting for a crisis, so I think things are looking up. I did, however, make 2 bananna breads and am cooking a goose (don't ask) for tonight.
Had a doctors appointment yesterday and baby seems quite content to stay where he is. She said that I look to comfortable to be having a baby any time soon. Which means I may be able to go to the hospital in a civilized fashion and be induced (even though I've heard it's painful, I like my major events in life to not catch me by surprise). I don't think they'll let me go past the 15th, which seems like a nice date to have a birthday.
