When you're writing do you find yourself favouring one point of view over another? To me writing the male POV is easy, but writing the female is hard.

lol -- it's always been easier for me to write males (hence the succumbing to slash).

Makes NO sense - we are girls. Why can't we write girls?

I know...it makes no sense.

Maybe we CAN - and we just think we can't. It's been a loooong time -but I think I remember you writing Jackie POV from time to time -right?

A couple times, but the ideas are almost always in the guys POV.

Yeah I wonder what that says about us? lol

Maybe we just like the challenge - maybe we want to try to get in the guy's head and explain his silly actions.

Me personally? No. Even in my non-fanfic work, I switch POV-scenes all the time.

I might be a bad person to ask, though, just *because* I switch all the time. :-)

lol Thanks anyway.

Both are pretty easy for me. It's third person that's tricky, since there's that sense of detachment when writing.

I don't even want to start thinking of that :)

I write first person female or third person (which confuses me all the time but I like the way it reads) for fiction, but for fanfic I totally find writing the male POV easier then female.

My only theory is that I normally like the male characters a whole lot more then the female characters and pay more attention or that the male is the lead and thus gets more backstory.

Or maybe we just think they have simpler brains...;)
